Jazz Combo:
Group open for bass, drums, piano, guitar, sax, trumpet, trombone, and vocalists (ability to scat a plus). Anyone auditioning should prepare the following:
-Blues in F, including improvisation (comping for chording instruments as well)
-One jazz standard, prepared melody and demonstrate improvisation (comping for chording instruments as well)
-Rhythm section players will also be asked to demonstrate swing, latin, and ballad feels
Come to our first rehearsal on Thursday Aug 28 in the Band Room if interested, 7pm. Rm 1105, Diehn FPA.
