Children's Guitar

Children's Guitar Lab is an introduction to guitar playing. Students will learn how to music and chord symbols, proper playing technique, and good practice habits. No experience required but students must furnish their own guitars.

Guitarist Edward McConkey received a BA in Music from 91Ãâ·Ñ°æ in 2002. He studied classical guitar under Michael Murphy, Linda Murphy, and Larry Driver and performed in Master Classes for David Russell and William Kanengeiser. Over the past 15 years, Edward has provided lessons to musicians of all ages and skill levels, including student acceptance to Governor's School of the Arts. Read more. . .

Cancellation

To withdraw from a course you must send a request in writing to oducmd@odu.edu or call 757-683-4075 one business day prior to the start date of the course. Failure to attend a course does not constitute withdrawal. Course registration fees, less a $25 processing fee will be refunded via check per 91Ãâ·Ñ°æ policy (we are unable to return money to a debit or credit card). There are no refunds once the class has begun.
