Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) provides assistance to faculty and staff working with hazardous materials. Potentially hazardous materials include biological and infectious organisms, hazardous chemicals, and radioactive materials. Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at 91Ãâ·Ñ°æ possesses applicable federal, state, and local licenses and permits to use and dispose of these materials. Compliance with regulations issued by these agencies is accomplished through training courses, laboratory evaluations and record-keeping functions.
